I've been really wanting to do another real photomanipulation project lately, but have been uninspired, which leads to really crappy half-art that I barely start and never finish. I knew I wanted to do something using a bride, but have been really anti-love lately (horrible, I know, but we all have those times...) and couldn't bring myself to do anything happy.

So last night I was listening to this CD of French music I have (especially "Marseilles" by Patrick Fiori) while browsing stock, and it all came together. I love how art just seems to materialize when you have given up on anything ever working. I finished the piece this morning, and am just waiting on approval from one of the stock artists before I can post it here. It is possibly my most favourite piece I've done. Maybe. But I think it turned out rather nice.
